10M users sharing 1B posts a day on Google+

Google+ has already breached the 10-million user mark, confirming earlier estimates by avid social networking spectators.

Google CEO Larry Page said, "There’s also a ton of activity: we are seeing over 1billion items shared and received in a single day."

Paul Allen, founder of genealogy site Ancestry.com, estimated that Google+ had already surpassed 10 million users on Tuesday, "and could reach 20 million users by this coming weekend."

Despite the stellar growth, Google+ has yet a long way to go compare to the social networking giant, Facebook, which has more than 750 million worldwide.
